Day 01 Anchorage
Arrival in Anchorage. Free transfer to your hotel in downtown. Pick up your rental car. You may explore the highlights of the city during a city sightseeing tour.

Day 02 Anchorage - Denali National Park (230 mi)
Today you leave Anchorage and drive along the Parks Highway to Denali. On your way you may stopover in Talkeetna and take a scenic flightseeing tour to Mt. McKinley. Continue to Denali Village. If time allows enjoy the a rafting tour on the Nenana River.

Day 03 Denali Wilderness Lodge
Today you'll take the bus deep into Denali National Park and overnight at a lodge near Wonder Lake. On clear days you'll be amazed by the natural beauty of the park with towering Mount McKinley in the background. Enjoy the scenery from rolling valleys to glaciated peaks and the wildlife - bears, moose, caribou, wolves, Dall sheep, ground squirrels, foxes and birds. Arrive at the lodge in the evening. Dinner is included.

Day 04 Denali Wilderness Lodge
Enjoy the entire day to explore the spectacular surroundings. Hike the park’s backcountry, birdwatch, botanize, and observe wildlife with a naturalist-guides, who know Denali’s trail-less terrain and are students of its flora, fauna, geology, and cultural heritage. All meals are included.

Day 05 Denali Nat'l Park - Copper Center (160 mi)
After breakfast take the bus to the park entrance. Drive the scenic, mostly unpaved Denali Highway to Paxon. It crosses the wide, wild land south of the Alaska Range and takes you back to the rich prehistoric past, it's colorful gold rush history and the awesome wilderness that remains throughout much of the state. Arrive at Copper Center where you enjoy scenic views of three mountain ranges: Wrangell, Chuchach and the Alaska Range.

Day 06 Valdez - Prince William Sound - Homer (180 mi)
Short Drive to Valdez. Take the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry for a scenic cruise to Whittier.
Turn onto the Sterling Highway and head towards Kenai River. In Anchor Point you'll see five volcanoes - the beginning of the Aleutian Chain and part of the "Ring of Fire". Arrive in Homer at the southwestern tip of the Kenai Peninsula on Kachemak Bay.

Day 07 Homer
Homer is blessed with a view to the south that is stunning in its beauty and grandeur. Here you'll find world-class halibut fishing, excellent kayaking trips and hikes. In the afternoon you may take a boat cruise across the Bay to Halibut Cove, a picturesque boardwalk community with many art galleries. Enjoy a dinner from the "Saltry Restaurant" with a spectacular view before you return to Homer.

Day 08 Homer - Seward - Fox Island (170 mi)
Drive to Seward, gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. By late morning you’ll embark on a 1-hour cruise over to Fox Island. Step ashore and enjoy a delicious salmon bake. Fox Island is a premier wilderness destination located 14-miles south of Seward. Accessible only by boat, it is nestled in a scenic cove and has a magical mix of sculpted cliffs and pebbled beaches. The afternoon is free for exploring or optional sea kayaking. Meals are included.

Day 09 Fox Island - Seward
Morning on your own. Around noon you take a cruise around Aialik Cape to the very face of an active tidewater glacier. Spend time watching glaciers calve giant splinters of blue ice into the ocean. Visit the Chiswell Islands, where thousands of colorful seabirds nest and look for graceful humpback whales, Orcas, playful otters, and hear Stellar sea lions bellow from rocky cliffs. Overnight in Seward.

Day 10 Seward - Anchorage (130 mi)
Take the Seward Highway to Anchorage. On your way stopover at Portage Glacier and at Alyeska Resort - tucked in a glacier valley between the mountains and the sea. Sightseers can take the Alyeska Traway to the top of Mt. Alyeska to get a bird's eye view. Return your rental car in Anchorage.
