Day 01 Anchorage
Arrival in Anchorage. Free transfer to your hotel in downtown. Pick up your rental car. You may explore the highlights of the city during a city sightseeing tour. |

Day 02 Anchorage - Denali National Park (230 mi)
Today you leave Anchorage and drive along the Parks Highway to Denali. On your way you may stopover in Talkeetna and take a scenic flightseeing tour to Mt. McKinley. Continue to Denali Village. If time allows enjoy the a rafting tour on the Nenana River.

Day 03 Denali National Park
Depart early and enjoy the Denali Wildlife Shuttle Tour to Eielson Visitor Center (included). On clear days you'll be amazed by the natural beauty of the park with towering Mount McKinley in the background. Enjoy the scenery and the wildlife - bears, moose, caribou, wolves and dall sheep. Return to the park entrance at your leisure.

Day 04 Denali National Park - Fairbanks (120 mi)
Short drive to Fairbanks. On your way visit the former trading center for the Athabascan Indians in Nenana. Explore the former gold rush town of Fairbanks. Attend the Riverboat Discovery Cruise, visit the Gold Dredge #8 or greet the dogs of former Iditarod musher Mary Shields.

Day 05 Fairbanks - Copper Center (260 mi)
Travel along the famous Alaska Highway to North Pole. The highway winds along the Alyeska Pipeline though the the foothills of the Alaska Range. Enjoy scenic views of three mountain ranges: Wrangell, Chuchach Mountains and the Alaska Range.

Day 06 Copper Center - Valdez - Seward (100 mi)
Short Drive to Valdez. Take the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry for a scenic cruise to Whittier. From Whittier stopover at the Portage Glacier and the visitor center. Short drive to Seward, gateway to Kenai Fjords.

Day 07 Seward - Homer (170 mi)
Turn onto the Sterling Highway and head towards Kenai River. In Anchor Point you'll see five volcanoes - the beginning of the Aleutian Chain and part of the "Ring of Fire". Arrive in Homer at the southwestern tip of the Kenai Peninsula on Kachemak Bay.

Day 08 Homer
Homer is blessed with a view to the south that is stunning in its beauty and grandeur. Here you'll find world-class halibut fishing, excellent kayaking trips and hikes. In the afternoon you may take a boat cruise across the Bay to Halibut Cove, a picturesque boardwalk community with many art galleries. Enjoy a dinner from the "Saltry Restaurant" with a spectacular view before you return to Homer.

Day 09 Homer - Anchorage (230 mi)
On the return trip don’t miss to visit Kenai located at the mouth of the Kenai River on Cook Inlet. Tucked in a glacier valley between the mountains and the sea is Alyeska Resort. Sightseers can take the Alyeska Traway to the top of Mt. Alyeska to get a bird's eye view.

Return your rental car in Anchorage. Transfer to the Airport. Tour Extension on request.
