Day 02 Anchorage - Valdez
This morning, meet your fellow traveling companions during an orientation breakfast. Board a deluxe motorcoach for today’s grand adventure to Valdez. Drive through the Matanuska Valley where they grow world record monster vegetables in the 24-hour daylight and visit the town of Palmer, home of the Alaska State Fair. Stop by to photograph Worthington Glacier for a look at this gigantic piece of ice. Early evening arrival into Valdez, which is nestled between the waterfront and mountains, giving it the nickname, Alaska’s Little Switzerland. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner and admission to the Valdez Museum. Overnight in Valdez. (Meals: BB, D)

Day 03 Valdez
Continental breakfast at the hotel. This morning is open to relax or take a stroll through the community to see the sights. Late this morning, cruise through the majestic Prince William Sound and explore the three-mile face of the mighty Columbia Glacier. Keep your eyes open for seals, sea lions, otters, whales, dolphins and puffins throughout this half-day exploration cruise. A deli-style lunch is included. Return early this evening with time to experience the long daylight hours. Overnight in Valdez. (Meals: CB, DL)

Day 04 Valdez - Fairbanks
Continental breakfast at the hotel. Board the motorcoach for the drive north to Fairbanks. The route takes you along the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, the largest park in the U.S. and the Trans- Alaskan PipeLine that runs 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. Along the way, visit a rustic Alaska roadhouse and hear tales of an Alaska long ago. Overnight in Fairbanks. (Meals: CB)

Day 05 Fairbanks
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning, learn how the gold rush affected Alaska’s interior on a city sightseeing adventure of Fairbanks with an included visit to the University of Alaska, Fairbanks Museum. Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Cruise on the Chena River aboard the grand sternwheeler - Riverboat Discovery III which will transfer you back to the time when rivers were used as transportation. During the cruise, learn about Alaska Native culture on a tour of an Athabaskan Indian village, hear a professional racer discuss dog mushing, and see a bush pilot take off and land. This evening, take an optional trip to the Fairbanks historical Pioneer Park (AlaskaLand) and enjoy the famous salmon bake dinner, where salmon and halibut are the specialty. Overnight Fairbanks. Day 06 Fairbanks - Denali National Park
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Ride the motorcoach south along the Parks Highway to Denali National Park with a stop at the rural community of Nenana known for its river festivals and the Nenana Ice Classic. Afternoon free at Denali Park to experience the many optional attractions in Denali including rafting, flightseeing, helicopter tours, hiking, Park Service programs or the Denali Dinner Theatre. Day 07 Denali National Park
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Open morning. This afternoon, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wildlife Tour and search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. This tour is approximately eight hours and includes a snack box dinner and hot beverage. Overnight at Denali. (Meals: BB, SBM) |

Day 08 Denali National Park - Anchorage
Breakfast buffet. Your morning is free for optional activities. This afternoon board the world famous Alaska Railroad for the day trip to Anchorage. As you travel along the Susitna River, you may catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. McKinley or black bear along the banks of the Susitna River. Overnight in Anchorage. (Meals: BB) |

Day 09 Anchorage
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Enjoy a brief sightseeing tour of Anchorage including a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, an interpretive center featuring native cultures; Lake Hood, the busiest float plane base in the world; and hear the history of the downtown area. The rest of the day is open to explore until your evening farewell banquet. Tonight, feast on an Alaskan style meal as you and your traveling companions discuss your Alaskan adventure.
