Day 09 Anchorage - Denali National Park
Today you leave Anchorage and drive along the Parks Highway to Denali. On your way you may stopover in Talkeetna and you have the chance to take a scenic flightseeing tour to Mt. McKinley. Continue to Denali Village. Enjoy the a rafting tour on the Nenana River or attend the Denali Night Dinner Theatre Show. Overnight at Denali Village.

Day 10 Denali National Park
Depart early and enjoy the Denali Wildlife Shuttle Tour to Eielson Visitor Center (included).
Search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. Feel free to go for a hike or walk during the day and return to the park entrance at your leisure. Overnight at Denali Village.

Day 11 Denali National Park - Fairbanks
Short drive to Fairbanks. On your way visit the former trading center for the Athabascan Indians in Nenana, also known for its river festivals and the Nenana Ice Classic. Explore the former gold rush town of Fairbanks. Attend the Riverboat Discovery Cruise, visit the Gold Dredge #8 or greet the dogs of former Iditarod musher Mary Shields during a guided tour. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Day 12 Fairbanks - Copper Center
Travel along the famous Alaska Highway to North Pole, home to the Santa Claus House. The highway winds along the Alyeska Pipeline though the the foothills of the Alaska Range. Enjoy scenic views of three mountain ranges: Wrangell, Chuchach Mountains and the Alaska Range. Overnight in Copper Center.

Day 13 Copper Center
Drive or fly to Mc Carthy and Kennicott located in the heart of the Wrangell / St. Elias National Park. As you follow the rugged McCarthy Road watch for salmon in famous Copper River and enjoy the fantastic views of Mt. Drum and Blackburn. Overnight in Copper Center.

Day 14 Copper Center - Anchorage
Leave today and travel through the Matansuka Valley to Anchorage. Don't miss th
e stopover at Matanuska Glacier, one of the few you can drive to and explore on foot. Drop of your rental car.

OPTIONAL: Take the Alaska Ferry for a scenic cruise across the Prince William Sound.
Day 01 Vancouver
Departure 5:30 pm.
Prior to embarking you might enjoy a Vancouver city sightseeing tour. Highlights are the market on Granville Island, Robson Street, Chinatown and the Totem Poles in Stanley Park.

Day 02 At Sea
Don't even bother trying to count the wildlife. The calm, protected waters are filled with sea lions, sea otters and migrating whales. On beaches and in coves on shore, moose, deer and bears forage for food.

Day 03 Ketchikan
Arrival 6:30 am, Departure 2:30 pm.
Immerse yourself in Tlingit Indian culture and view the world's largest collection of totem poles; kayak the colorful waterfront and stroll the boardwalk that once led to Ketchikan's red light district.

Day 04 Juneau
Arrival 7:00 am, Departure 9:00 pm.
Juneau is a great place to sample salmon baked over an alderwood fire, pan for gold, and hike the massive Juneau Icefield. Or hop on a sled and let a dog team pull you across the surface of a glacier.

Day 05 Skagway
Arrival 7:00 am, Departure 8:30 pm.
It all started when gold was discovered in the Klondike River and tiny Skagway quickly grew to 20,000 residents. Today you can ride the antique White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway up to the summit.

Day 06 Glacier Bay (Scenic Cruising)
Cloistered in the rocky recesses of Alaska, Glacier Bay is a world still emerging from the Ice Age. Sixteen dazzling tidewater glaciers creep forth, chiseling great masses of moraine onto their pristine surfaces.

Day 07 College Fjord (Scenic Cruising)
Prince William Sound's College Fjord is one of the northernmost inlets on the Gulf of Alaska. It terminates in Harvard Glacier, more than two miles wide and 300 feet tall at the face.

Day 08 Seward / Whittier - Anchorage
Arrival 2:00 am
Ice-free the year round, Seward and Whittier were a natural choice as the ocean terminal and supply center during the construction of the Alaska Railroad. Transfer to Anchorage. Pick up your rental car.
