Depart Anchorage for a 90 minute flight to King Salmon. Continue with a float plane for a short and scenic flight to Brooks Lodge.
After arrival attend a short safety briefing provided by a park ranger. The remaining time is yours to observe brown bears feeding on salmon at/around world famous Brooks Falls. A lower bear viewing platform is located at the mouth of the Brooks River, entering Naknek Lake. Another viewing platform is
located at the upper end of Brooks River overlooking a series of waterfalls. National Park Service rangers may assist and answer all of your questions about this incredible wildlife habitat.
A buffet-style food outlet is available Brooks Lodge.
Leave Katmai in the early evening. You will arrive in Anchorage approx. at 9:00 pm.

Overnight at Brooks Lodge. The large circular fireplace is popular for evening relaxing. Cocktails are available at the lodge bar.
