The hotel buildings are situated on a grassy compound overlooking Kachemak Bay, with a path leading down to Bishop's Beach, yet the location is right off the Sterling Highway as you enter town, within walking distance of downtown Homer. Guests enjoy panoramic views of mountains, glaciers, Kachemak Bay, St. Augustine Volcano and miles of uninterrupted beaches.
The two modern buildings, completed in 1996 and 1997 are situated directly above the private beach. They are complete with modern, spacious rooms, large picture window, balconies, telephones, and 34 channels of cable TV. All of the rooms have a magnificent view of the ocean and mountains along with easy beach access. A number of the new rooms are also equipped with full kitchen facilities, most rooms feature refrigerators and microwaves.
