THE LODGE  
The lodge is a first class resort perched on the water's edge, accessible only by air or water, where all of our guests enjoy luxurious accomodations, gourmet meals by our fabulous French Chef, and daily guided activities included in their all-inclusive packages. We offer some of the finest saltwater and freshwater fishing, whale watching, kayaking and eco-tourism activities in the world.

Located in a Tlingit native village on Admiralty Island, the lodge is pure luxury set in the midst of tranquility. Set on the waters-edge, with unrivaled scenic views of the Tongass National Forest, the lodge’s exterior landscape is challenged only by it’s opulent interior. Grand public areas and the most sumptuous guest rooms in Southeast Alaska, make Favorite Bay a favorite of celebrities, gourmet chefs, restaurateurs, politicians and seasoned outdoorsmen.

Accommodation
The luxurious water's edge resort offers twele distinctly designed guest rooms. Every room features native cedar walls, log pole furnishings, handcrafted rugs, featherbeds, down pillows and duvets and a elegant baths with soaking tubs and showers. Not to forget the dramatic great room with a 180 degree views of the water's edge, mountains, and natural habitat. Native Cedar and walls of glass with majestic views of the bay become the ultimate indoor observation point. Curl up in front of the Sunken Fireplace or take advantage of the cozy loft offering a small library of books. A guest office is available if you need to check your e-mails.

Meals
Guest’s will need to bring their appetite for gourmet cuisine. Chef Pierre Coutou prepares a fusion of the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer, melded with traditional French fare. Culinary programs are offered throughout the season. Savor the treasures of Alaska such as Alaskan Halibut, wild King and Coho Salmon or Dungeness Crab caught that morning.

Getting here
Alaska Airlines connects passengers from Seattle to Juneau. Once In Juneau, you'll be transported back in time to the majestic destination of Admiralty Island. We arrange your scenic 45-minute Seaplane ride to Angoon.

Activities

World-class guided fishing. The placid waters of the Inland Passage offer monster Halibut and 5 species of Salmon. Hike, boat, or even fly in to remote mountain lakes and streams to fish for trophy Dolly Varden, Cutthroat Trout and freshwater Salmon using fly rod or ultra-light spinning gear.

• Whale watching in Chatham Strait. An extremely high concentration of Killer Whales and Humpback Whales just minutes from the lodge. Witness the incredible sight of pods of Humpback Whales breeching simultaneously in a massive water ballet as they “bubble net” feed on balls of Herring. This is one of the few places on earth to witness this rare and spectacular phenomena.

• Tongass National Forrest. Hike the Tongass National Forest, the largest temperate rain-forest in North America and home to one of the highest populations of brown bears and American bald eagles per square mile on the planet.

• Wildlife. Admiralty Island is home to the highest concentration of Bald Eagles and Alaskan Brown Bears on earth.

• Kayaking. Kayaking and canoeing in the peaceful, clear water of the spectacular Mitchell Bay Watershed with its beautiful grottos and narrow waterways. Get eye to eye at water-level with otters, seals, sea lions, porpoise and marine birds.
